Books
Piano Adventures Books are the primary resource used in lessons. Most beginning students start in the Primer Level and work up to Level 5. When a student has reached Level 5, they will be given new repertoire to learn. This repertoire will expand their theoretical and technical understanding as well as enhance their performance abilities. A notebook must be brought to each lesson for the purpose of lesson and practice records.
Practice
It is critical that each student develops strong practice habits. Whether or not a student has practiced during the week is evident in their lessons. It will greatly inhibit your student's progress if they are not practicing.

Rather than those who have played the longest, the most advanced students are those who are practicing regularly.
Age Recommendations
It's recommended that students be at least 7 years old. Exceptions can and will be made for students who are ready earlier.
